WHAT'S IN MY TRAVEL BAG?
After 2017 being a year of many lessons and challenges, I decided that 2018 would be the beginning of a time where I travelled more. I am starting 2018 with a bang. The first time I went to Mexico it was for work, this time around, it's for fun and family!
After 2 weeks in Mexico, I can honestly say before leaving I was all jazzed up to pack an elaborate makeup bag. That failed. I realized I used the same products over and over again and kept it simple.
Here's a glimpse of my vacay looks and a couple purchases (YES, I couldn't resist).
When on the go, I decided to opt for something easy, quick and glowy. Here are the 3 essential products I used everyday.
1) Nars Creamy Concealer
I can't live without it and it's the perfect travel size. This was my foundation.
2) Josie Maran Argan Oil
Morning, night. Face, hair, lips. Hydrating perfection.
3) Nars Highlight and Bronzer Palette (Limited Edition)
I lost it once, and repurchased it in Mexico. Amazing palette and one of this years best. I also used the palette as eyeshadows.
MY EVENING LOOK
To switch up my look, I simply added a bolder lip. It's my statement, but boosting up the eyes is also an option.
1) Clarins Lip tinted Oil
I loved the Honey version and just bought the red one. Perfect to amp up the lip and rehydrate.
2) Chanel Rouge Allure ip Tint
I love red as a lip color and this was a new purchase, but you can always try pink, orange or burgundy.
Garnier Waterproof Miscellar Water
It removed my waterproof mascara and has a cute travel size. New find!
